We are Will and Dina Marble, founders of Family Dive Club. We are parents to three girls who we want to see grow up knowing the magic of deep friendships, the connection of family, and the understanding that there is a big, beautiful world out there to be explored and protected. We have created safe, fun, enriching, and adventurous programs for young people to take a break from technology, dive into nature, and connect more with their friends, family, and the world around them. We believe families who dive together, thrive together.

MEET DINA

Dina has been a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) since 1994 and has dived and taught Scuba Diving all over the world (Every continent except Antarctica). In addition, Dina has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2002 and has been working in a professional counseling setting with teens for 23 years. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Dina realizes now more than ever how important it is for kids to disconnect from technology and reconnect in meaningful ways with their families, friends, and nature.

MEET WILL

Will, our program director, has been an experiential educator since 1985. His expertise in group facilitation for teens, college students and adults has taken place in locations ranging from remote wilderness settings to corporate board rooms offering programs for various organizations such as Southern Illinois University, Outward Bound, Southeast Alaska Health Corporation and Georgia Institute of Technology. Before working in Administration at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, Will was the Health and Wellness Coordinator there focusing his curriculum primarily on character development, resiliency and citizenship. Will is a trained accreditation reviewer for the Association for Experiential Education, has been medically trained as an EMT and Wilderness First Responder, is an American Red Cross/CPR/First Aid/Water Safety Instructor, a PADI Dive Master, and he loves to share his enthusiasm for the outdoors with others.

MEET CRAIG AND ANN WILLIAMS

Craig and Anne are a valuable Instructor and Dive Master duo at Family Dive Club. They bring decades of experience teaching young people, whether through gymnastics or Scuba diving. Craig enjoys traveling all over the world and diving with Ann. He makes chain mail jewelry and picked up classical guitar 6 years ago. Ann is a Dive Master who put off diving for years because she was worried she wouldn't be able to clear her ears. She is a self-proclaimed "fish geek". She loves identifying them, photographing them, and observing their behavior. When she is not diving, you can find her in the air practicing her aerial skills. Craig and Ann own Head Over Heels Gymnastics and are no strangers to working with young people. They are an awesome team. We are excited to have them both back with us this summer, teaching the Advanced and Rescue Campers for their fifth year.

MEET BREE LORD-LATNER

Bree has been a beloved science teacher for over 15 years , providing hands-on Marine Science, Genetics, and Biology education for high school students. She has a BS in Biology and a Master's degree in Science Education. She has taught science in traditional K-12 classrooms, museums, and recreational facilities. She has over a decade of experience teaching science at summer camps throughout Birmingham. She loves agriculture, water, national parks, and adventure. Bree is a Dive Master and certified Freediver. Fun fact about Bree is that she has hundreds of house plants.

MEET AUSTIN WAGNER

Austin joined our team as an intern for the summer of 2021, just after getting out of the Marines. He earned his Rescue and Dive Master Scuba Certifications with us and then went on to become a PADI Instructor. He is currently working towards his Master Scuba Diver Instructor rating and teaches private classes with us throughout the year. Austin is currently working as a Paramedic at Shoals Ambulance and is working towards becoming a flight and tactical medic. We always feel safer when Austin is around.

MEET KAELYN WARDEN

Keelyn, our newest Crew Member, is an internationally performing Mermaid with over 14 years of entertainment experience. Her adventures have taken her as far as SeaWorld Abu Dhabi to join the opening cast of the world's largest indoor aquarium as a mermaid performer. In addition to mermaid performances, Kaelyn has worked in aquariums around Florida focusing on dive safety, animal husbandry, and manatee rehabilitation. Beyond performance, Kaelyn is a PADI Scuba, Freediving, and Mermaid Instructor. She is passionate about teaching young people, aquatic fitness, underwater safety education, and environmental awareness.

To offer unique, enriching, and active programs for kids; premier personal growth and leadership development for teens; and safe fun Scuba Diving Adventures for the whole family through Scuba Camps, Family Certification Classes, and Family Dive Trips.

To provide young people opportunities to dive into nature and to become more connected with their friends, families and the world around them.

To support greater awareness of our oceans, global water issues, and to promote environmental stewardship.
